"The path to you in dreams..." —detail of Female Figure:

I chose the blue color scheme because to me it conveys a dreamlike state, and the marble-cracked effect because of the way dreams and reality seep into one another. Blue is also the color of  melancholy and things that arrive unexpectedly...

The female figure is larger than the male because she is the Dreamer. She will move into the landscape as the dream unfolds and perhaps cross the distance to where the male sits waiting... perhaps not.
